Welcome to Riverside Preparatory School, 380th Battalion, California Cadet Corps. 


The California Cadet Corps is available to any Middle School/High School  student at Riverside Preparatory School and is an elective period during the school day.

Go to the Middle School or High School office to sign up for the California Cadet Corps.


Middle School cadets will receive Physical Education (PE) credit for the California Cadet Corps class. This is a great alternative to take to receive PE credit.


The California Cadet Corps (CACC) is a state program authorized by laws enacted by the State Legislature and conducted by the California State Military Department/California National Guard in cooperation with educational institutions.


The MISSION of the California Cadet Corps is to provide California schools and students with a quality educational and leadership development program that prepares students for success in college and the work force.


The mission is accomplished through the six core OBJECTIVES of the California Cadet Corps:

  1. (1)To develop LEADERSHIP

  2. (2)To engender CITIZENSHIP

  3. (3)To encourage PATRIOTISM

  4. (4)To foster ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

  5. (5)To teach Basic MILITARY KNOWLEDGE

  6. (6)To promote HEALTH, FITNESS, AND WELLNESS
